Ruby Welsh Seals, 83 of Lumber Bridge, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Born in Cumberland County, Ruby was the daughter of the late William McDuffie and Lula Reeves Welsh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Seals; son, Jeffrey Seals; sisters, Mary Sutton, Margaret Jackson, Katy Davis, and Ethel Welsh; and grandson, Reid Seals.

She is survived by daughters, Denise Lynch and Deborah Hubbard & husband Terry; son, Michael Seals & wife Dena; grandchildren, Christopher Hubbard, Cameron Seals & wife Stephanie, Bryan Lynch, Amber Felton & husband Derrik, Haley Seals, Emily Adams & husband Aaron, Grant Seals, Luke Seals, and Natalie Seals; great grandchildren, Noah Hubbard, Nova Grace Felton, Colton Wayne Adams, and Eden Skye Seals; sister, Esther McLean; bonus grandchildren, B. J. Lynch, Anthony Hubbard, and Jennifer Sanchez; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Seals loved to go to thrift stores, cross stitching, bird watching, and rescuing cats.

She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
