Sarah Brown

Mrs. Frances Nordan Brown, 83, of Fayetteville, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 27, 2014.

Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of the late Robert Allen Nordan and Mahaley Rice Nordan. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmie Brown; a son, Kenneth Brown and wife Tammy of Hope Mills; and two granddaughters, Taylor and Keeley Brown.

Mrs. Brown loved going to church, cooking for family and friends, and was a volunteer for events at the Crown Coliseum for many years. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
