Shelby Williams

Shelby Jean Williams, 72, of Hope Mills, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 25, 2010.

Shelby was born May 19, 1937, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Kornegay of Pink Hill, NC.

Shelby worked for FASCO Industries for 34 years and later retired from Restonic.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William "Bill" Z. Williams; her daughters Pam Dunham, Susan (Drake) Johnson and Sharon (Tim) Peoples; her brother, Jessie Henry (Lynn) Hill; her grandchildren Billy (Lorie) and Steven Dunham, Kari, Clint and Lance Johnson, and Zach Yoder.

The funeral service will be held Monday, March 29 at noon at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC.

The family suggests donations be made in Shelby's memory to The American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
