Shirley Barefoot

Mrs. Shirley Lee Barefoot, 76, of Fayetteville, NC, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013.
Shirley was born on March 6, 1937 in Johnston County, NC to the late Jesse Malcolm and Vader Ellen Lee.
She was a former pastor of Whispering Pines Church in Fayetteville, homemaker and Avon Representative for 35 years.
She is preceded in death by her son, Blakey Barefoot.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 58 years, Ernest Barefoot; sons, Mitchell Barefoot and wife Angie and Ricky Barefoot and wife Lynn; grandchildren, April, Melissa, Matthew, Brian, Kelly and husband Lee; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Mills, NC, conducted by the Rev. John Cameron, the Rev. Tommy Tatum, and the Rev. Leslie Wood. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Church Cemetery in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., today, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at the funeral home.
Shirley was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
