Stella Dise

Stella Faye Knox Dise, 77 of Rocky Point  (formerly of Hope Mills), passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of the late James “Joe” and Myrtle Estelle Branch Knox.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dise; daughter, Debra Nowell; brother, Jimmy Knox; and son in law, Billy Hall.

She is survived by daughters, Sandy Hall, Donna Vlassick & husband Vincent; Tammy Dise and Angela Dise; son James Barry Nowell & wife Wendy; grandchildren, Tamara Lynn, Jennifer Faye, Darren Lee, Joshua Dise, Kristin Canipe, Jessica Dise, Paula Gibson, Jamie Heaton, Ricky Wilson, Wayne Taylor, James Taylor and Matthew Efrid, plus 2: 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Mabe & husband Jimmy.
