Thelma Prevatte McGee, 84, of Hope Mills, died peacefully Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, surrounded by family.
Born July 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Emma Prevatte.
Along with her parents, Ms. McGee was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin McGee, Sr.; son, James Franklin McGee, Jr.; and grandson, Johnny McGee.
She is survived by her daughter, Carole Clark of Fayetteville; sons, Vance McGee and wife Debbie, and Charles McGee, both of Hope Mills; 10 grandchildren, Bobby McGee, Teresa McGee, Jamie McGee, Shannon McGee, Curtis Clark, Dawn Seegars, Jennie Griffin, Julie Meade, Justin McGee, and Jordan Kasal; and 18 great grandchildren.
Ms. McGee was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
