Thomas Howell

Thomas Joseph Howell, 63 of Fayetteville, passed away August 9, 2013.

Born in Camden, NJ, he was preceded in death by his parents Donald F. Howell Sr. and Cora M. Howell and also a brother Ronald Anthony Howell.

He is survived by his loving wife Debra Free Howell; his four children, Cynthia Whittle, Thomas Howell, Michael Hinton, Jessica Soto and son-in-law Gabriel; his ten grandchildren, Brenden, Tristan, Corryn and Fiona Thompson, Emberly Hinton, Christian and Aidan Whittle, Isabella, Gabriel and Sofia Soto and brothers; Don Jr., Ed, Jim of NJ and Chuck Howell of AZ.

Tom Howell retired from the United States Army in 2011. During his 33.5 years of service, he received the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (6th Award), Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), National Defense Service Medal (3rd Award), Southwest Asia Service Medal with two (2) Bronze Service Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star and served in Global War on Terrorism, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
