Tishia Henley

Tishia Miller Henley 64 of Hope Mills, entered Heaven peacefully surrounded by family, February 16, 2018, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Fort Benning, Georgia, she was the daughter of James A. Miller and Genene Townsend. She is preceded in death by her father James and step-father, Dennis Townsend. She is also preceded by a brother, Jimmy Miller and a sister, Elizabeth Gammill.

She is survived by, a son, Robbie Henley of Hope Mills; a daughter, Lori Caulder and husband James of St. Pauls; mother, Genene Townsend of Hope Mills; a sister, Vickie Harter of Garland TX; two brothers, Denny Townsend of Morresville, NC and Jimmy Miller of Spokane, Washington; three grandchildren, Connor Caulder, Medowe and Dylan Henley and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Tishia enjoyed cross stich, playing bingo, black jack and slots. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked memorials be made in her honor to Health Keeperz Hospice, 4155 Ferncreek Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
