Tommy Batchelor

SFC (RET) Tommy B. Batchelor, a long time resident of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021.

Born April 24, 1931 in Nashville, NC, he was the son of Sam and Lillian Batchelor. Tommy married the former Ingeborg Eva Englert from Arnstein, Germany, and together they had three sons - Fred, Michael, and Steven. He was a loving and supporting husband and father.

Tommy served in the Army for more than 20 years with assignments to Alaska, New York, Korea, Fort Bragg, and several tours in Germany. He had a passion for service and was a friend to everyone he met. He always had time for others and loved to share a story or two. A true gentleman, Tommy will be missed by all who knew him.
