Vastie Sweatt

Vastie Emanuel "Granny" Sweatt 83 of Fayetteville died Thursday March 16, 2017.

Born in Dillon County South Carolina she was the daughter of the late James and Jannie Yarborough Emanuel. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ravenell Sweatt, a daughter, Audrey Kristine Sweat, and a brother Albert Emanuel.

She is survived by 4 daughters: Jenny Dulzer & husband Frank and Donna Novak both of Hope Mills, Gloria Privette & husband Davis and Barbara Jones both of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren: Scotty, Johnny, Craig, Renee, Amy, Katie, Jeffrey, Robert, Matthew, Danielle; 15 great-grandchildren: Michelle, Taylor, Bradley, Brandon, Kaley, Chyenne, Ben, Madison, Jasmine, Ariel, Heidi, Jordan, Austin, Ethan, Mason.

Some of Mrs. Sweatt's hobbies include gardening, listening to gospel music and singing in church where she was a member of Community Chapel Church for over 12 years.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
