Vernon Sewell

Mr. Vernon Lee Sewell went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 14, 2010 after a battle with cancer. He was a very loving companion, papa, and friend to many. He was employed by Johnson Brothers of Lillington, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Lee and Ida Mae Strickland Sewell, and a brother Bobby Sewell.

He is survived by his loving companion, Betty Page of the home; his sister, Carolyn Faye (Peggy) and Rueben Dean of Ringgold, GA.; a brother, Sherril Sewell and Doris of Dunn.

His extended family; Rose Hobbs and Tony Jackson, Sr., Archie Page and Rhonda Kenton, Velma Page and Ray Taylor, and Cindy and Tim Schmidt; nine grandchildren, Nikki and Justin Hobbs, T. J. Jackson, Mike and Megan Schmidt, Lee and Eric Parker, Tiffany Page and Johnathan Barefoot; two great-grandchildren and three nephews.
