Weldon Sessoms

Weldon Manley Sessoms, 91, went home to be with his God,  Saturday, June 16, 2012.

Born in Erwin, NC, October 30, 1920,  he was the son of the late Albert and Mamie Lockamy Sessoms. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired as a supervisor in the textile industry.

Weldon was a member of the Rivers of Living Water Church of God where his funeral will be conducted Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Paul Keeter and Dr. Johnny Rivera officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church Monday evening from 6-8 PM.

Among those left behind to mourn his passing are his wife, Katherine; sons,  Howard and Kenneth; sisters,  Peggy Brock and Elizabeth Hayes; brother, Gene; three  grandchildren, five great grandchildren,  a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a large church family.
