William Barnes

Beloved Brother and Uncle, William Joseph Barnes of Hope Mills died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Carrol  S. Roberson Center after a short illness.



William was born May 14, 1958 in Akron, Ohio to the late Thomas Robert and Evelyn Place Barnes.



He was employed by Pepsico in computer science.



William enjoyed working with computers, gardening and pets.



Sisters Margaret Barnes and Marie Wright were his loving caregivers and brought much comfort through his illness.



Surviving are siblings, Margaret Barnes, Marie  and husband Lawrence Wright all of Hope Mills, Rebecca Barnes of Johnston, Ohio, Robert Barnes, Maribeth Barnes both of Tallmadge, Ohio and Thomas E. Barnes and wife Beverly,  niece, Jennifer Barnes and great nephew, Freddie Barnes of Doylestown, Ohio; nephew, Thomas W. Barnes and family of Green Ohio.



A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Good Shepard Catholic Church in Hope Mills. A private inurnment will take place at Cumberland Memorial Gardens at a later date.
