William Jerry Berry, 90, of Hope Mills, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Fayetteville.
Born on March 15, 1926 in Dade County, FL, he was the son of the late Jeff Adley and Louise Berry.
William attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked as an accountant before retiring and enjoyed gardening in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Elizabeth Berry; daughters, Shirley Coley and husband Allen of Parkton, and Barbara Smalls and husband Robert of Charlotte; sons, Neil Berry of Staten Island, NY, William Berry, Jr. and wife Gwendolyn of Brooklyn, NY, and Robert Dumas, also of Brooklyn; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 27 great-great grandchildren.
William was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
