William Bundy

Mr. William H. Bundy,74, of Fayetteville, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 27, 2013, surrounded by family and friends.

Born in Hoke County, he is the son of Hector T. Bundy and Flora Elizabeth Calhoun Bundy. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Archie Bundy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dixie of 56 years; daughters, Susan Bundy and companion Larry of St. Pauls, Ann Pate of Clinton, and James Bundy and companion Nancy of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Mandy, Lisa, Timothy, Amanda, Rebecca, Ashley, Bryan, Christina, Bruce and Jessica; 10 great grandchildren and a sister, Lucille Hine of Ashville.

Mr. Bundy enjoyed fishing and camping when he had the time, going to church, and spending time with his family. He always looked forward to having a traditional family meal every Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you asked him to do something, you knew he was a man of his word and you never had to ask twice. He loved everyone. His family and friends will cherish the memories they have and will miss his big smile.
