William Rogers

Mr. William Stacy Rogers, Sr., 82, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Carolina Rehab Center of Cumberland.

Born in Hoke County, he was the son of the late Berkley and Carrie Bell Rogers, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Rogers.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his daughter, Angie Evans and husband Chris of Fayetteville; sons Stacy Rogers, Jr. and wife Marla of Hope Mills and David Rogers of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Morgan Smith and husband Blake, Lauren DiAntonio and husband Tyler, Joshua Evans and Jessica Evans; great grandchildren, Harper Smith and Jack Smith.

He liked coaching softball, watching nascar and wrestling, attending church and listening to gospel music.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
